Singer Brandy Norwood is trying to hook her brother up on the newest episodes of For the Love of Ray J, and brings along her daughter Sy'rai to add her two cents. Now I applaude Brandy's effort in trying to help tame Ray J, but did she have to bring along her daughter to screen dates? I really didn't think it was appropriate so I cannot co-sign her having her 7 year old daughter take part in that mess...single mother or not. It's just that I'm not a fan of putting children on television just for the hell of it AND with women who bear watching. Instead of playing match maker Brandy, can you please crank out some hits for us in 2010? Okay, let me stop because it's actually my very first time watching for the Love of Ray J. I missed all the drama with Danger drama last season so I'm catching by watching......

On another note, did anyone else NOT know that Brandy was not in fact married to Robert Smith? I'm late. I know, but still. This is from an interview Brandy did years ago regarding her "situation" with Robert Smith. Read about what happened here at MTV
The 25-year-old Brandy expressed nothing but distress when she heard the admission. "I am deeply hurt and shocked by the things that Robert has been saying," Brandy said in a statement. Instead of a legally recognized marriage, she says they "had a spiritual union and true commitment to each other, and we still share a common bond through our (2-year-old) daughter Sy'rai."
